I can't complete my profile because I'm blocked on the photo step. Whether I click the photo icon or the button to access my gallery nothing changes. My phone is a Realme 5

My phone it's a Xiaomi Mi9 Pro (Android 11) and I've the same problem.
I'm blocked in this step. I take a photo with the camera but the app doesn't save it and when I go to my gallery and select one of them, it has the same behaviour. The app doesn't crash.
